About This Site

During my time as a student at Central Missouri State University, in Warrensburg, MO, I gained an affection for the school nickname/mascot, Mules.  This is the kind of affection a person obtains from attending a school and having wonderful memories of time spent there (in my case a considerable amount of time and a Mule Train full of wonderful memories).

Forty plus years and living over 2,000 miles from "The 'Burg" hasn't caused that affection to wane.  To the contrary, it has stayed strong and grows stronger as the years go by.  That, in spite of the fact I have returned to campus only a few times, certainly not nearly as often as I would have preferred.

So it is within that spirit, and because of that affection for the school and the nickname that, I have built this site.  It is a tribute to those schools that have a nickname of, or their mascot is Mules, or a variation thereof.  It is particularly for the special people lucky enough to have attended or worked at one of these schools and have similar affection for their school.

If you know of a school that should be on this list, please let us know about it. eMail us

If you attended a "Mules" high school and a "Mules" college or university let us know about that, too.  I would think there are several people who would have attended Solanco High School and Muhlenberg College, both in Pennsylvania.  And there has to be a lot of people
attended Lathrop or Lone Jack and Central Missouri State.

If you have information about the football helmet or logo of a Mules School, that too would be welcomed and appreciated.  Also, any website addresses pertaining to one of the schools featured on this site. Please eMail us with that information.  Web sites that we know of have links to them on their respective pages on this site as well as on our "Other Links" page.

Any comments, suggestions, criticisms, mistakes, oversights, etc., please eMail us

In the future we hope to have news, information and tidbits about the schools on the site.  We are looking for volunteers to provide us with photos, scores, stories, etc.  If interested call toll free 1-877-804-5437 (10 AM to 9 PM Pacific Time) or eMail us.

Special thanks to Mike Kersey who produced the graphic helmets for this site.  If you are from Missouri and/or enjoy looking at high school and other helmet designs you should visit Mike's site The Missouri High School Helmet Project and one of our other sites
The Washington High School Helmet Project, for which Mike produced the helmets.

So enjoy and let us know what you think.
